Here's a step-by-step guide that breaks down the process:
Step 1
Grab an old filing cabinet or a file cabinet from the thrift store. Ashley found one for only $10, and her mind whirred with possibilities.
Step 2
Paint some affordable tiles from Home Depot. Before you think it's a breeze, Ashley warns it's slow going if you want to achieve perfection. "Spoiler alert, it was very, very slow," she confesses in the video.
Step 3
Hand-mixing the colors and carefully applying them to the tiles is a labor of love.
This part alone took many hours over several days, but the results? Absolutely stunning.
Step 4

Once you're done painting, let it dry for 24 hours and bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 300 degrees. Ashley swears by it, having used it even on bowls that have held up for five years.
